Grooming Services

Grooming approach
  • We understand that grooming can be overwhelming for some pets, and we’re deeply committed to helping them feel safe and supported. Our team is made up of Low-Stress Handling® and Fear Free® Certified professionals, and we prioritise preventing and easing fear, stress, and anxiety through an evidence-based approach.

We take the time to understand each dog’s comfort level and tailor our grooming process to suit their individual needs, gently encouraging positive associations over time. We encourage guardians to do so too.

For pets with behavioural challenges, we follow their pace rather than pushing them through a full groom. We do not use aversive methods — ever.

Thoughtful adjustments are made to our environment too:

    • We maintain a cage-free setting where each family of pets is kept separate from others
    • Appointments are intentionally spaced out to minimise noise and overstimulation

The number of appointments we take each day is capped to ensure a calmer, more peaceful atmosphere for dogs and their people.

  • That’s completely okay — many dogs feel unsure during their first few grooming experiences, and we’re here to support both of you through it.

We take the time to understand your dog’s comfort level and adjust our pace and approach accordingly. For first-timers, we may suggest starting with a short and simple session like our Groom n Go service (nail clipping, ear cleaning, sanitary and underpaw shave) to help them gently ease into the environment, sounds, and handling.

You’re also welcome to bring along any familiar items (like a favourite treat, toy, or towel) that might help your dog feel more secure.

If you're unsure what service would be most suitable to start with, feel free to reach out — we're happy to guide you through the options based on your dog’s temperament and needs.

  • Yes — you’re very welcome (and encouraged) to observe the grooming process from our designated holding areas. We believe in transparency, and want you to feel confident about what’s going on.

If your dog finds comfort in your presence, you’re more than welcome to be in the grooming room with us — just don’t mind the flying fur! We only ask for your help in keeping things calm and quiet to minimise stress for your dog and others in the space.

  • We truly understand how challenging this can be, and we do our very best to support every dog that comes through our doors. Many dogs with behavioural challenges have been successfully groomed at our salon using a combination of Fear-Free and Low-Stress Handling® techniques.

Every dog is different, so we encourage you to reach out and share your concerns with us. This helps us better understand your dog’s needs and assess how we can proceed safely and compassionately.

For grooming to be possible, we do ask that you're able to safely pick up your dog and, if needed, help apply a Elizabethan collar in higher-stress situations.

If your dog experiences significant fear or stress around grooming (typically FAS level 4 or above), we may recommend working with your vet to explore Pre-Visit Pharmaceuticals (PVPs) to support their comfort and safety.

You’re welcome to bring along your dog’s favourite treats or familiar items from home that help them feel secure.

Depending on your dog’s needs, there may be an additional handling fee from $20 if extra time or resources are required to complete the grooming session safely.

  • Absolutely. We've had the honour of caring for many senior and special needs pets over the years. We adjust our approach based on each dog’s comfort — this can include grooming on a soft or non-slip mat, working at a lower height, or even grooming on the ground if needed.

If your dog has mobility issues or requires extra care, just let us know when booking. We’ll make sure to plan additional time and tailor the environment to support their wellbeing.

Housekeeping matters
  • To book a grooming session, simply WhatsApp us at 9656 3786.

As our groomer specialist is hands-on with pets throughout the day, replies might take a little time — thank you for your patience as we aim to respond within 24–48 hours.

If it’s your pet’s first time at our studio, do let us know when you reach out. We’d love to help make their first visit a gentle and positive one. In some cases, we may recommend starting with something simple — like our Groom n Go service (nail clipping, ear cleaning, sanitary trim, and underpaw shave) — so your pet can slowly get familiar with the environment, our team, and the grooming process without feeling overwhelmed.

If your pet has urgent grooming needs, we’ll do our best to support those first, while still prioritising their comfort.

To help us assist you more efficiently, please include the following details in your message:

    • Your pet’s name & breed
    • Whether it’s your first time grooming with us
    • The grooming service(s) you’re looking for
    • Your preferred date and time
    • Any health concerns or behavioural notes we should be take note of

  • As we limit the number of grooming appointments each day to create a calmer, low-stress environment for our furry clients, our slots tend to fill up quickly.

We recommend booking your appointment at least 6–8 weeks in advance to secure your preferred timing.

If you need an earlier slot, feel free to let us know — we’ll be happy to place you on our waitlist and reach out if a suitable opening comes up.

  • It depends on your dog’s coat type, lifestyle, lifestage, and how comfortable they are with grooming. As a general guide, full grooming is recommended every 4 to 8 weeks, with nail trims ideally every 2 weeks.

Some dogs — especially puppies or those still building confidence — may benefit from shorter, more frequent sessions to help them adjust gradually and positively.

Not sure what’s best for your pup? Feel free to chat with our grooming specialists — we’re happy to help tailor a grooming schedule that suits your dog’s unique needs.

  • Timing depends on your dog’s size and comfort level with grooming. Below are general estimates to give you an idea:

    Full Grooming

    • Small: 1.5 – 2.5 hrs
    • Medium: 2 – 2.5 hrs
    • Large: 2.5 hrs and up

    Basic Grooming

    • Small: 0.5 – 1 hr
    • Medium: 1 – 1.5 hrs
    • Large: 1.5 hrs and up

These are just rough estimates — dogs who need a slower, more gentle pace may take a little longer, and that’s perfectly okay with us.

  • A full pre-payment is required if your appointment was previously cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice. This pre-payment will be credited toward your grooming bill on the day of your appointment.

In cases of no-shows or last-minute changes (within 24 hours of the scheduled time), the pre-payment will be forfeited. We hope this policy helps encourage fairness and consideration for others who may be waiting for a slot.

If our groomers fall ill or are unable to attend your pet’s grooming session within the 24-hour window, we’ll prioritise offering the next best alternative to reschedule the session as soon as possible.

  • We carefully select a range of gentle, no-nasties grooming products — including shampoos, conditioners, ear cleaners — that are plant-based, cruelty-free, and generally suitable for sensitive skin. We choose products mindfully and will often tailor them to suit your dog’s skin or coat condition.

Our environment is also cleaned using non-toxic, pet-safe cleaners, so you can rest assured that your dog is in a space designed with their health and wellbeing in mind.

If your dog has a vet-prescribed shampoo or grooming product, you’re welcome to bring it along for the session — we’ll be happy to use it.

Feel free to ask our grooming specialists about the specific products used on your dog — we’re always happy to share what goes into our care.

  • Yes — we take great care in selecting everything that touches your dog. Hygiene is just as important to us. Grooming tools are sterilised, contact surfaces are disinfected between each session, and towels are washed at high temperatures after every use. Our environment is cleaned using non-toxic, pet-safe cleaners, so your dog is in a space that’s not only clean, but also gentle on their system.

If you prefer, you're welcome to bring your own grooming tools or towels — just let us know in advance, and we’ll be happy to accommodate.

  • For the health and safety of all our animal clients (and their humans), we have a strict Parasite and Infectious Disease Policy in place. At this time, we’re unable to groom pets with tick or flea infestations, or contagious skin conditions such as ringworm, scabies, and similar issues within the studio.

To help avoid a wasted trip — especially if you’re unsure about your pup’s skin condition — we offer a complimentary video assessment with our grooming specialist. This can be easily scheduled via WhatsApp, and we’ll be happy to take a look and advise before your visit.

  • That’s a completely valid concern — and one we take very seriously. Our studio follows a strict Parasite-Free and Infectious Disease Policy. Pets showing signs of tick or flea infestations, or any contagious illnesses, are not groomed onsite and are instead directed to alternative arrangements for their care.

To maintain a safe environment for everyone, we carry out thorough daily disinfections of our grooming space and tools. These measures are in place to protect the wellbeing of both your dog and all the furry friends who visit us — as well as our team.

Retail Store

  • We believe in treading lightly — making choices that prioritise animal welfare, health, and the planet, without compromising on functionality or aesthetics.

Our retail selection is carefully curated from brands around the world that align with our values:

    Welfare-focused and cruelty-free

Plant-based and made with clean, no-nasties ingredients

    • Thoughtfully designed, functional, and fitting in modern homes

    • Kinder to the planet, animals, and people who make them

You won’t find products here that compromise the wellbeing of animals — no chemically loaded grooming products, cages, water bottles, electric collars, or anything that promotes negative reinforcement.

We’re also proud to support local brands and independent designers. While our range is intentionally limited, every item is selected with care — for the good of our pets, the environment, and the communities around us.

  • Yes — all bath and grooming products we use in our services and carry in our store are certified cruelty-free, either by Cruelty Free International, Beauty Without Bunnies (PETA), or made by local and small independent brands committed to cruelty-free formulations.

We do our best to stay up to date with each brand’s cruelty-free status, but if you ever come across a product that appears not to be — or no longer carries certification — please don’t hesitate to let us know. Thank you for your support in helping us stay true to what we believe in.

  • Yes! We do our utmost to ensure that all our products are free from animal-derived ingredients and materials. This means you won’t find leather, wool, feathers, or any other animal by-products in the pet accessories we carry.

Creating a retail space that is ecologically kinder and aligned with our values is something we care deeply about — and we work hard to uphold that standard.

If you ever notice a product that may contain animal ingredients, please let us know right away. We truly appreciate your support in helping us stay true to what we believe in.
